Over the last 10 years Sam has developed a deep passion for connecting people over drinks. From mixing up quality concoctions for celebs backstage at festivals to teaching in-person Masterclasses. He’s provided quality customer experiences for Havana, Brugal 1888, Seedlip, Jagermeister and the list could go on.

After a leap of faith, he quit his job and went all in on running Tipsy History Tours in Bath but then COVID struck. Being a bold and innovative individual, Sam decided to repurpose his skills and love for entertaining people, by creating online cocktail classes. Taking the first steps to making drinks, beyond the bar.
You’ll usually find him bringing people together at social events or the first on the dancefloor with questionable moves.

Ed left a career in advertising working for Vice and Saatchi & Saatchi to move closer to family and repurpose his skills, knowledge and optimism to help start-ups remotely. Given his bartending friendship group & past, he felt compelled to come onboard and use his combined experience to grow Beyond The Bar and support people in hospitality.

Even though his cocktail masterclass days are over for now. He’s an avid foodie and will be looking for ways to extend Beyond the Bar’s experience offerings. You can take the bartender out the bar, but you can’t take the bar out of the bartender, you’ll usually find him making cocktails at celebrations and parties with a cheeky look on his face.
